Tingle

by Leah   Sep 18, 2005

Blessing not what we undo,
and so I sit
and ponder you.

Can't forget what all I've lost,
but this indeed,
is worth the cost.

Yes I broke his lonely heart,
made him shiver in the night,
but when I looked into your eyes,
I knew my choice was right.

Lost beneath these shadows,
far away from hope and pain,
shant weep a tiny glossy tear,
for so much,
I have to gain.

A sunset shine,
so far away,
its now or never,
where future lay.

Ocean dreams, I lay in thought,
you went fishing,
its my heart you caught.

Diamond feet,
step untouched,
pick me up,
for thy uncrushed.

Crowded mall,
thoughts I flew,
brain fights curse,
if you only knew.

Break me, break me,
fragile sun,
before this beaten,
has begun.

Puzzle, tiny puzzler,
missing a piece,
and yet your heart,
is what I cease.

Kissing,
while strangers tare,
fighting,
defeating their timid stare.

At last to cease
my sweating palm,
through these nerves,
I try to be strong.

Thus you have to,
let go of my hand,
and thy again,
alone I stand.

And everything,
A fancy ballroom,
stands wide rage
and grand,
and my finger,
still tingles from the touch of your hand.
