Hummingbird.

by Steven Beesley   Sep 18, 2005

Small little bird
Such colorful display of iridescent plumage
Long slender beaks, extensible tongues
Looking for sweet nectar and tiny insects

Such long pointed wings
Rotating at very high speeds
Hovering and searching
Always hungry and always feeding

Busy, so busy
Just like a bee
Always aloft in flight
Going from flower to flower

I love the humming bird..... they are the sweetest littlest birds, I have sat and watched them, they are so interesting. You have described them to a T....... beautifully done.
