Stranger

Once I knew the way that you thoughts,
But now it seems I never knew you.
Mixed into a new religion sort,
Blackened eyes; new way of life.
Killed the old you,
And now I want to save you.

Don't know who you are,
Or how you think.
Confused and thoughtless,
You don't care that it's hurting me.
Wrists worn and I want out,
I didn't want it to end like this.

I can't make it on my own,
And neither can you.
Friends once again I want to be,
No two strangers in the dark,
Crossing paths as we catch the trams home.

I don't know who I am, caring when you don't want me to.
