You say you wont do these things
but in the end you do
and it hurts cuz i care for you

you bring it up as if its so casual
but really its not
its like everything i said you forgot

i try to help you
in the choices you make
but it seems as though its just a mistake

im trying to lead you to a different path
to where you wont get hurt
but in the end you get treated like dirt

its as if you dont hear me
or as if you dont listen
until you can see my tears finally glisten

its as though you cant tell it hurts
even though the tone in my voice changes
once things like this are brought up
and my words are exchanged

cant you see the dissapointment in my eyes
dont you realize

you dont get it
so lower you head i dont want to see your ashamed face
