I forgave you when you broke my heart
stomped on it and left it in the dark,but time has passed and things have changed
my love for you is beginning to fade,but for some reason tears are still falling real hard,and the broken pieces are being stepped upon.
crushed and battered,burned and bruised,left in the cold so hurt and confused.
i try not to show the pain i hold,but when it comes to you this is all i know.
in the past 2 years i have fallen down,carrying a smile to hide the frown.
trying to pretend that nothing is wrong,but when i get home i put on the same sad song.
i barry my head within my bed,praying to god for this pain to end.
please make it stop and go away,because ever since i lost you my life has changed.
but now I'm done and its time for me to go,these are the things that only a broken heart knows.
