I CRIED AS I WROTE

by Lisa Reed   Nov 26, 2003

This poem put a tear in my eye,
So deep it was it made me cry,
Life 's just so unfair,
sometimes you feel that he dont care.

But when the bad times come,
Its always nice to have your mum,
So let her guide you through it all,
She'll be there to pick you up when you fall.

I know these words you've heard before,
And friends speak them day to day,
But they are feeling hurt inside,
Because a friends child has been taken away.

So take what they can offer,
A shoulder when you cry,
There is no greater comfort,
When a baby dies,

Sad these words upon the page,
When you read them in your mind,
But someday up in heaven,
Your baby again you'll find.

i ACTUALLY WROTE THIS POEM JUSTA SEC AGO AFTER READING A POEM THAT A GIRL CALLED HAYLEY WROTE ON HERE IT WAS ABOUT THE LOSS OF HER BABY. THE POEM GOT ME VERY EMOTIONAL SO I WROTE THIS FOR HER HOPE YOU GUY'S LIKE IT.
