A Chance to Love or Chance to Lose

A world of wonder
Waits for me.
But a problem
Seems to grow
By everyday.

It sits besides me
Every hour of the day.
Smiles at me
And gives a wink.
Walks with me,
Talks with me,
And its every word
Seems to sound
More clearer in my mind
With every minute.

The one I talk of
Is the one who makes
My heart go quick,
The one who holds me
As I cry away my pain,
The one who knows me
Better than I.
The one that can't even see
Everything he does to me.

I don't know what to do.
If I go, and take a chance.
If I reach, for the stars.
A wonder could be mine.
But also....
I could lose
Something even more.

So dear Lord,
Who watches me
From up high,
Do I take it,
The chance to sing?
Or do I keep
What I got?
I feel so lost
And alone.
I don't want to miss
But I don't want to lose.
So, What do I do?
