Killing Rainbows Baby

by Kirsty   Sep 19, 2005

You burnt your bridges before you walked them
Thinking you were right
Hinting for a second chance
Grabbing to her tight

But did you ever wonder, rainbow
Why she was afraid
Shutting down her soul inside
But still she stayed so brave

She gave you what you wanted, sugar
But still you wanted more
Big mistake to leave her shattered
I hope your heart feels sore

For five short months I've had her beauty
Together pulling us through
I hated you for what you did
But yet I think you knew

I've had to keep a smile for you
Which is not what I'd prefer
You don' get it? I don' get it
But you don' ever get her!

So you've had time to think it over
Sort out what to do
I know now that you want her back
But I love her more than you

There are times all I see are scarlet and pink
I've had to think well maybe
But one things for sure that tonight
We'll be killing rainbows baby
