Night Scream

Fell hard on the ground,
Head smashed on impact.
Blood rushed to the mind,
And I can't think anymore.
Nothing left; I don't know who I am,
Or where I came from.

I see a faint shadow over my head body,
Taking the stained clothes off my back.
Lost for words, loved ones can't see,
Why I would want to end right here?
Broken inside, they walk away,
Not knowing the real me.

I don't know where I was in this life.
I wasn't the perfect fit for you, anyone.

I can't fall asleep, eyes blackened,
Wrists cut and mind filled with drugged.
Crazy words, screaming in the night,
Just to be held by you.
I know I've lost you,
But I still need the love.

Brain frozen, I need a new start,
And to forget what you did to me.
I can't make it on my own,
My heart's still with you.
I won't do it again, I promise,
No need to sleep it off.

Part of me forever, a never ending nightmare.
