Empty skies

by Emily parsons   Sep 20, 2005

She looks into an empty sky
And wonders what went wrong
She smiles a sad regretful smile
As she hears their favourite song

She adores the feeling of being in love
If she stopped it now shed die
So for now she will bury herself
In your beautiful heart and cry

She thinks of all the happy times
And lets out a pitiful sigh
Why did she let this go?
She didnt even try

So I cry a final tear
And I cry it only for you
Now I smile a meaningful smile
And watch an empty sky turn blue
