Hit

by k i k i   Sep 20, 2005

Take a look across the road,
And where I come from.
Stranded, I can't take it,
One hit to the ground, I'm dead.

Guns shooting the innocent,
Why am I the never ending victim?
You say it's a mistake,
Too late, fading away, gone.

Family lost, street closed,
Man comes in, takes them away.
Too pain around, same thing like before,
But now, nothing left.

Why make it so hard on me?
Abandoned, I have no future.
Home to another, I can't take anymore,
Screwed me up enough, no more.

Worse off, maybe not,
But I can't sleep; only erase the pain.
Slit above the knee, a cross to mark them,
Forever blood will fall inside.

Broken and torn, skin demented,
And there's no use for me.
Education, any hope, I don't care,
Free me from them, the enemy at hand.

They never had the chance to know their daughter, no.
