The gig

by Amy   Sep 20, 2005

I step onto the stage.
nerves take the better of me, but i pick up the mic.
the drummer smiles at me.
so do the rest.

they start to play, the drummer keeping the beat.
the guitars and the bas, come in.
thats my cue.
i start the first note.

i start to get into it,
jumping around.
i tease the rest of the members,
and sing out real loud.

i run through the audience,
spreading delight.
i get them into it,
making them clap.

the lights flash,
the power chords start.
the drum gets faster,
and the jumping slows down.

i sing the soft song,
getting the messgage out.
people scream at my song,
and bop there heads.

then,
we must stop. its time for the rest.
i really like playing.
it wasnt so bad.

Well...since noone else is posting, i will.

this is about one of my best friend's who plays in a band. he gets nervous when he goes on stage, but once he is on, he goes nuts. he is so energetic too.

then, once he is off, he wants to be back on. he then goes and jumps like crazy to the bands playing after him! its very humorous.
