I Only Just Wish..

No one really knows
What I hide inside
The hurt that I carry
When no one is by my side

I cry myself to sleep
From the hurt I can not bear
I only just wish
That someone really cared

No one really knows
The things that I feel
I don't tell anyone
My lips are always sealed

I cry myself to sleep
From the problems that I hide
Sometimes I wish
That I could just die

No one really knows
The anger that is inside
I always put on a brave face
And put my anger aside

I cry myself to sleep
Because no one can understand
I only just wish
Someone was there to hold my hand

    *hugs* beautifully written, a 5/5 for sure. I luv the repetiveness "I cry myself to sleep", and "No one really knows" it works really well for this poem. i kno how u feel cuz i feel lyke this alot. awesome flow and rhymes. keep up the great work! take care XXXXX
