you won\'t let go
you can\'t forget
these things that make you feel like shit
and if i could i\'d say those words
that would almost be a kind of comfort
but they wouldn\'t sound right coming from me
so i\'ll let you sit
and stay with your past
that\'s painfully sharp
like the shards of this glass

and maybe one day you\'lll remember me
trying to help
but you could never see
that i was here all this time
waiting for you to say that one word
thats the only thing that need be heard

so remeber me when you think of your past......
