When I look at you
Do you know what I see?
A fire inside waiting to be free

As I drown in the beauty of her smile
Time grabs my hand and I am lost for a while
Even though storms and winds may roar
We come out on top forever more

But will our eyes ever meet again?
Never will I forget our love as friends
Your passionate hugs they say so much
Their silent screams and your velvet touch

Waiting in my bed for dawn to rise
And seeing the sunset when I look in your eyes
So I sit and think, where is my place
I thought of you as tears roll down my face

But no not sad joyful they are
We used to sit in the grass and look at the stars

No material things its love I got
