Seeing Her

by Jubal   Sep 20, 2005

Every day I see her,
How close I long to be.
When I simply hear her name,
my weak heart skips a beat.

I see her talk to others,
and I want the same.
I don't understand the part
that I play in her game.

If only I could talk to her
if courage I could take,
I'd let her know my feelings
as they create their wakes.

Maybe I will talk to her,
I'll try with all my might.
I hope she doesn't laugh at me,
In my lowly plight.

If I were good enough for her,
I'd hold her like a dove.
She would be my lady,
and I her secret love.
