Friends Forever

by Sam   Sep 20, 2005

Attatches at the hip,
Never apart.
Sisters by mind
Close in heart.

I knew your favorite color,
And what you were gunna say.
I knew you inside out,
In every single way.

Always havin sleepovers
And stayin up realy late.
Watchin funny movies
And talkin of those we hate.

When I had a bad day
You were the first one I'd call.
If either one of us tripped,
The other would catch our fall.

You were there for me
When life got too hard.
And you'd occasionally make my day
By sending me a random, but funny card.

We were full of stupid jokes
That got funnier every time.
Then there were out stupid songs
That we even made rhyme.

We had many talks about boys.
Actually, those happened a lot.
And surprisingly, over the years
We never ever fought.

But all of those memories
Are starting to fade away.
They get nothing but farther
With every passing day.

And now I'm too far from you.
Friendship must have short-distance range.
'Cause once I moved away,
Nothing's the same. It all seemed to change.
