So many things
I want to share with you
Though I can't be the one

To me, how amazing you are

What others only see from afar

How you struggle with the right things
And wrestle to work things through

That in a sinful world
You fight for what is true
That in your life, being a Christian
Is most important to you

So many other things
To me, make you a prize
Your little laugh, your cute smile
The playful look in your eyes

You light up a room
Every time that you walk in
Your energy is something special
And comes from deep within

And yet, not to mention
How incredibly beautiful you are
I wouldn't change a thing about you
If I could wish upon a star

No matter what it is we do
We never run out of things to say
To laugh, to smile, to always have fun
We're so alike in every way

You know I wish I could be
For you, more than what we are
But I really need to tell you
The words I've said so far

One day God will give you
A special person for you to care
I hope to God you have with him
The way that we can love and share
