Moving on

You were always there for me,
But i just couldn't see,
because it wasn't showing,
Till i looked harder i was going.

But as i think of all the good times we've had,
All the times we've laughed and been sad,
I wish i could stay here forever,
And not every have to leave, never,

Every person must move on,
And I'm sad to think of a day when I'm gone,
Because with out you threw all these years,
i would have been nothing with out you to wipe away my tears.

before i came i was lost,
But you befriended me without a cost,
Thank you for helping me in the past,
These years have gone by way too fast!

But as life changes and becomes harder,
You will move away farther,
But theres one place where you will never escape,
And thats in my heart the safest place.
