The weather of life

by Mark   Sep 21, 2005

As i look out of my window
I see the pouring rain
Beaten and unwanted
Running down the glass pane

It rapidly hits the ground
And smashes the fortuitous puddle
Ripples of pain
A non-existent cuddle

Soon after the heavy rain
Heavy thunder emerges
Venting it's anger
In violent surges

The light of hope
Is soon to disappear
Happiness is far
Sadness is near

But now the worst is over
The best is yet to come
The pain has been defeated
By the rising sun
