At first I was ashamed
Ashamed to face my family,
My friends, my peers,
But most of all God.
I had committed an unholy sin
In which I would never be forgiven
Or so I thought
My family excepted it
It took time but they forgave me
But I was still confused and still questioning the reason
Then I felt a little life move inside me,
The little life that I had sheltered
It was the most amazing feeling ever
I had been questioning the reasons
But I didn't get any answers
What I got was indescribable
With every little movement you grew stronger
And I grew more attached
It was then that I realized how much you meant to me
You brought a whole new meaning to the word love
You gave me a reason to live
A reason to learn and grow
The day you came into this world
Was the day I had been forgiven
Forgiven for the unholy sin I had committed
It was the day God sent me an Angel
You were so Innocent, so perfect, so pure
God sent me something pure to wash away my sin
You are my sin
You are my forgiveness
You are my daughter
I will love you unconditionally until my time on earth is through
And when I enter heaven
God will send me back to this earth to wash away all your sins
