Fallen Soldier

by My tormented little heart   Sep 21, 2005

Hell burns inside my soul
The casket's ready for my funeral
The words will be spoken oh-so-sweetly
Black roses upon my grave will be placed so neatly

My body had died a thousand times
My heart has lived through these rhymes
The words share my life with every line
No on can take them, these poems are mine

I replaced all my hope for sad sorrow
I'll give my all to see tomorrow
If all else fails, you'll know what I've done
Some battles are lost and some are won

I'll give my all to keep resistance
I'll fight my battle with a vengeance
As this heart grows weak and colder
Just tell everyone I was a fallen soldier

Hi, I'm leaving you this comment in regards to the comment you left me for my poem "Cutters For Attention...". I'm aware that you called me "shallow" and said that "you've probably never cut in your life...". I'm sorry, but before you go calling me shallow, maybe you should have read my other poems and see that I've been a cutter for more than 5 years. I know, first hand, that not all cutters cut for attention, because I cut and I sure has hell don't do it for attention. My poem actually has to do with a girl who cuts herself for attention... maybe if you read carefully you wouldn't call me "shallow".
