Writings in my Journal

You are the angel of my mind,
To you my life is due.
Whenever I get lonely or sad
You are always the one I come to.
Through the thick and the thin
You always get me through.
Without you I would have given in.

This is a poem to you,
For you have been my one true friend.
You are the only one that knows me for me
And not for who I try to be.
I pour out my heart, and you don’t say anything back.
That is what I like and what most of my friends lack.

I wish there was a way to thank you
But not enough thanks can come.
You saved me from my memory
You let me be true to you.

When I wake up every morning
I am glad for what you do.
You help my heart stay true.

There will always be something there
Between us, something that no one else knows.
