Who is She?

by Nikki   Sep 22, 2005

I cannot stand that girl at all
But I see her everywhere
I'm the only person who sees right through her
And who I am, she'll never care

I know that laughter is forced
I know those smiles are fake
And I know that when she gets home
That heart of hers does ache

I know her strength does weaken
I know those eyes do cry
And she thinks of possible ways
That soon one day she might die

Only I see her, for what she really is
Only I can feel, the way I know she feels
I only wish she could see me
And what I can reveal

And although I am nothing to her
We have a close connection
And even if I fear her
I'll admit she's my reflection
