My Angel which I cry to

by blindedxxbyxxlove   Sep 22, 2005

My angel which I cry to
Her hands are trembling with fear,
The scars don't speak the half of it
The story behind those empty tears.

My angel which I cry to
Deafened by the sound of my screams,
Scarred from the horror, scarred from the pain
From her distant but shattered dreams.

My angel which I cry to
Her heart but a blackened hole,
Torn apart and ripped to shreds
The one thing she had left, her soul.

My angel which I cry to
Her wings are tattered and torn,
Crimson tears fall down the face
Of the angel which no one mourns.

I know you wrote this a long time ago but...is it about someone? I never really paid close attention to this particular poem before. I LOVE YOU ALWAYS-N-ETERNITY!

I like this, the way you've taken the idea of a guardian angel and looked at from a slighlty darker point of view. I think quite a lot of people will connect with this poem.
