Smiles and laughs are what we share
Precious moments spent just you and i
And most of the time it seems as though
The time just flew right by

But tear drops roll down my face
For just yesterday we got the news
A fighting chance is all you've got

The days left in your life are numbered
So please live them all with pride
And don't worry about me leaving
Because I'll forever be by your side

The chance of your eternal sleep
Is so high and I'm afraid
But you kiss me on my head
and tell me to please be brave

You tell me those words,
the ones from your heart
And what you said I'll never forget
even when we have to part

Even from the heights of heaven

This morning I went to wake you
But you were in a sleep
All i could do was fall to the ground
horrified from the loss.. I began to weep

I know its not your fault
that you had to go
but theres one more thing
that i wanted you to know..

Although you had to leave..
you'll always be with me
Until we meet again my sweets
in my heart is where you'll be
