Vampiric Ecstasy

by Simon Hayes   Sep 22, 2005

Tremble a word and mutter a silence
Immortal being and bloody violence
Sky is no limit as night passes day
Longing to bite you, still as you lay

Sinking in deep to the core of the bone
Feeling no sorrow as she begins to moan
A chill in the air keeps my blood flowing cold
Weakness holding her neck oh so bold

A presence of darkness, a tale of night
Waiting to hold you and rid you of fright
Then just as I thought that my chances were made
You returned and whispered deeply "I'm no longer afraid!"

Taking to air to capture the sight
Hiding away as they turn on the light
Sleeping in stillness hidden away
'Til night come again so we can play!

I really like how you worded this poem. It doesn't make sense, but the eerie feeling you get from it, does distort the mind, and randomness is needed, which you have accomplished. You definitely make it to my favourites. Well done :)
