I still miss you

It's been over a year without you here
It feels like I've been stuck in first gear

Your mother still misses you like crazy
You can tell she's sad, her mind is getting hazy

I hate it though, when i sit and think
I can see images of you on every blink

I have these dreams that go through me
All the time, i can see and feel these dreams so perfectly

I feel you hold then gun, i feel you pull the trigger
I feel you lose hope, I see a change in your figure

I hear the gun go, i hear you fall
I remember the tears, i remember the phone call

"Something's happened, you need to get here...
No I'm not crying, I'm not shedding a tear..."

I sit and get so damn angry at myself and the heavens above
Because you left me for them, but for you i still love

I still miss you and care about you
And i hope that you remember me too

I hope that you're OK wherever you are
I hope that this misshapen doesn't leave you a scar

As a fade away into the light
I want you to know, we all still miss and love you tonight
