An angel came down from heaven
with all the love she sends

disguised in my bestest friends.

It was you who soothed my anger

in a storm of tears and rain.

It was you who gave me courage
you protected me from my fear
It was you who shared my secrets
and who would catch a straying tear.

You lent me a shoulder to cry on
you sold everything you could give
