Hope

There are times in life, that help you see
The way things truly, were meant to be

As you lie awake crying, in the dismal night
Longing for truth and it's cleansing light

Hold close to hope and don't despair
the joy you require will soon be there

Trust the good, in the hearts of men
As I write away fear with a flick of my pen

The temptations outside, need not control
The person inside, in search of their whole

Express yourself in everyway you can
Hold up your head and take a stand

Take a step forward away from the crowd
And let the freedom in your heart, sing aloud

But for those you, who can't describe
The feelings that you feel inside

When times are hard, relief unseen
close your eyes and dare to dream

Stay the course down trecherous stream
and on the horizon, a light will beam

Put aside your fears and doubts
For there is no such evil to worry about

Summon your courage and continue to fight
as the ocean blue sky turns black as night

Look for hope where none seems near
fight back your despair and shed no tears

Allow the magic to take you away
And give you the courage and grace to say

This unsure world will not hold me
For my heart, my mind, and my soul are free

Your eyes are closed but your soul will see
That your perfect world has come to be
