It started with a bang, it ended much the same
An explosion of feeling, snubbed out like a flame

You broke my tender heart, with no intent to fix
You left it for another, to connect the shattered bits

But much to your surprise, and rather much to mine
Another came along, in little to no time

Not only did she fix me, and repair my broken soul
But showed me love I never knew, and replaced the love you stole

I send a prayer to Fate, I thank him infinite
For sending you to me, for making our hands fit
