Somehow

It's a great poem... keep it up, but I think it sorta confuses a person when reading it because the way you spaced it with the rhyme, it'll look better like this:
When my heart starts pounding, feeling so scared
i find comfort closing my eyes and see you there

you always have the right words to say
reading your letters every single day

after all the shit Ive been through i pray that what you say is true
somehow i was blessed with someone like you
somehow i am comforted with a feeling never felt, a feeling so new

somehow you see something in me i cant see on my own
no more do i feel hopeless and alone

I hope this is not a game, i really dint want to play
I'm taking a giant leap and i am trusting you in every way

i feel like if i don't I'll have alto of regret
and i don't want to make a mistake that i wont ever forget

i will be there for you through thick and thin
this is where our old lives end and our new ones begin
