Each and everyday
Either I choose to go back to Cali or stay here and lay
Doesn't really matter anyway
Cause your not hear to led me in any which way

Today I do love you
I'm sure my love for you will last long too
Tell me, what is it that you do when I am not with you
Hope nothin' bad
Nothin' that would make me feel sad
Or nothin' that would make me feel mad

I always tell you not to drink
Cause it seems like your brains startin' to shrink
Lately you don't tell me what you think
Don't even write it in ink
What am I supposed to think?
That you love me
But how can this be
If you don't call me on the phone
You're never really home

Hope you're feelin' happy
While I am here feelin' crappy
Sometimes when we talk you feel cranky
I try to make you happy by actin' wacky
Some how it doesn't seem to work no more
Seems like I keep steppin' closer to leavin' your door
But if I do, you'll still be cared for
Even though I'll sink lower than the floor
But will you regret all the times we shared?

My feelings for you were hiddin'
Now I have them writtin'
Willin' to stop hurtin'
While my heart is burnin'
These flames keep on gettin' bigger
Soon I'll probably have to pull the trigger
But there's no need for that
It'd be stupid to attempt that
I'd rather chose to hide under my hat
Then bust any sort of cap
