My Last Thought

by Ashley   Sep 23, 2005

A steady gaze with piercing blue eyes
An echoing silence filled with urgent cries
A blackness darker than any evil
With an eerie mist and uncomfortable still.

So much hurt, so much pain
A white shirt with a crimson stain
No more regrets, no more fears
Just an eternity of neverending tears.

I'm letting go, I cant hurt them anymore
I've opened up now its time to shut that door
So for those of you who never seemed to care
For those of you who couldn't help but stare
This is for you; I wont be subject to anymore of your ridicule
And I apologize if you think I'm being cruel

A wavering gaze from empty blue eyes
An echoing silence devoid of those urgent cries
A blackness lacking in any evil
With a settling mist and a comfortable still.
