Can I Die

by Andrew   Sep 23, 2005

You sink your teeth and bite the blood
That drains your life in side of me
Filling you with war and hate and everything you try to be
And still my soul will live eternally

I have come upon that hightless wall
All I can do is dig my nails and call
But you turn away not caring that I fall
And still you walk away standing tall

Do you feel good knowing that I die?
Every time I try to close my eyes and realize
That you're the only thing that makes me smile
And you spit in my face and kick dust in my eyes

So I scream and hurt just to know
That the day will come when to all Ill show
That I am drowning in my own blood upon the floor
And I ask of you one wish to let me go

Entangled in hate and fear, just let me fly
Better yet I'm almost there just let me die
Why must you watch me suffer in sorrow?
Maybe Ill be blessed to die tomorrow
