I watched you each day
as you slowly faded away
I kissed your lips
felt your heart beating
so quietly
today I said
good-bye
as you breathed
your last breath
never to hear
your sweet voice again
never to hold you
and whisper I love you
too many tears to count
to much pain to bare
I touch your
now cold body
once so full of life
never to dance again
I say good-bye
my love
we will meet again
we were meant
to be together
there never will be
an end

    Heartfelt and touching...... saying goodbye is so hard, I hope your mom is doing better now with loss of her dear friend, help to keep the memories alive for her....... Beautiful but sad write Luanne.
