Untitled Saddness

A broken heart is so difficult to mend,
Even more so when theres no walls to defend.
Tears fall that never seem to touch the ground,
A pain so deep theres nothing but a frown.
A feeling of emptiness, a loss of every feeling all the way through.
Looking around you try to find the pieces.
The hurt has falling for years down on you.
For now no pieces in sight, no sign of love or anything right.
Sifting through the ashes of those trust bridges burned.
Another sharp poke no matter where you turn.
Every direction seems to hurt no matter what.
You cant even trust the instincts deep down in your gut.
A look inside yourself you see all the damage that has been done.
Its a place only you can see,
Not even the closest to you can see within.
Through the sadness and despair theres a place you can run.
Its a place inside you I dont know where but,
I know in my heart its there.
That place is safe from all the sadness and pain in your heart.
Believing its there is a good place to start.
Theres one more thing that I know and it comes from my heart,
