Scarring Tissue

by k i k i   Sep 24, 2005

Standing up for the rights in my eyes,
Anthem to stamp out being like this.
No need to suffer in silence,
Use the blade to cut away the fear.
Under my skin, scars wear thin,
Weeping to heal, have a chance to shine.

Tears falling in tissues that
Have become my saviours.

Blood has come to a halt,
And now I'm left to fix my mind.
Turning the dial back when I
Loved everyone, nothing was bad.
Feeling inside was normal,
Now, I've hit a train.

Run over by wheels, moving over me,
Flattened, I can't break out.

Thoughts nearly forgotten,
Now scars are left to swelter in the sun's light.
Blast of chemical to shut them down,
Stop the growth of more contamination.
Anaemic, loss of all sensation,
No face left to show emotion.

Eyes cut out of their homes,
My mouth swollen with cuts.

Faking a smile,
They won't even know what's happening.
Hide away in the dark,
Sing a happy song, it will be fine.
Weak and uncontrollable,
I can't be this way anymore, change.

Start a plan to help me, help her,
Overcome the fear of reaching for the knif
