Searching in the abyss

Darkness surrounds with pastel glow
Time moves forward though much to slow
Light as a feather you search for the floor
Pray for the wind to blow no more

Floating about with no control
Never to find another soul
Never to know whats to come
Unknown and fearful oh so numb

Feelings are gone and all's a blur
Speech and thoughts such a slur
As though nothing else exists
Sight is darkened into the abyss

You'll find no one here
But death is so near
Though nothing to fear
Possessing but one tear

Lost in a forgotten world to cope
Left without a thought of hope
Don't forget the past, or present
Your mind is open to every serpent

Nothing is hidden your an open wound
Bleeding continues feelings not attuned
Searching for what you do not know
Flying past with the winds blow

Searching...
But aching
Searching....
Not breathing
Searching....
But losing

    I liked this line
    As though nothing else exists
    Sight is darkened into the abyss
    but i didnt like the ending of it.. but by far one of the best poems i have read of yours. 5/5

    That was really deep, but I liked it. a lot.
    I get that feeling too, of being too light, just floating about...

    I think I like this poem best so far, I like the air of mysterious wonder it seems to give off.

    My favourite lines were:
