Tears

Tears like acid rain
Roll down my cheeks
Burning one by one
Leaving behind their marks

A blazing hot fire
I can't put out
Instead more tears fall
Each a new flame

Every tear another story
A little more pain
Why won't they stop
Just several more tears

I need to escape
Why can't I run
I want to scream
I can't take anymore

No more tears today
They'll be back tomorrow
