It Took A Moment So Look To The Side

by Arty   Sep 24, 2005

Separate my vision from you
how this moment left you too
all this silence and space
run away without a trace
leaving a concentrated sound of your voice
all this time i watch without a choice

intended this to be the opposite

narrow walls with words that claim my soul
everyone but you plays their role
everyone plays their part
decided to thirst the blood from your heart

young ones have it easy, watch the days go by
on and growing to see the hour glass run dry
under the shadows of pain they soon die

surrender to the Heavens in the sky
on and dying, because the hour glass ran dry

dripping tears onto my fake smile
on and on I'll never win this trial
nothing kills me more than this denial
tell her it's not only for a little while

let the silence talk
end come near, so get up and walk
are you still there?
very closely you lead me in
everything is right, but you're my sin

my arms extend
everything is said and done, you're still a friend
