The Red Bird

by Anna   Sep 25, 2005

The black rose of sorrow withers in your hand.
Emptiness can vanish with just one more step.
A bloody razor won't even break your fall.
For the coming of the red bird has come and gone.
150 story's high you try to find an inner calm.
The beating of your heart slowly stops after realizing that your being buried.
Breaking through this mess was so simple and yet you let it pass you bye.
If only someone said something...

So much for the red bird in the sky.
