Three simple words

by Kelley   Sep 25, 2005

Three words that could have changed my life if you had said these three simple words to me
when I needed to hear them most would I be where I am now alone and laying on this cold hard ground
with my life seeping slowly out, had I heard those those three simple words would I have stolen this gun
lying here beside me, my metal courage that has failed me, it had made me feel invincible but the truth is here seeping out of me that I am just a common man who if he had heard those three simple words could have and would have
been more then a chalk outline on a cold dark street. Now it is too late the words I love you fall onto dead ears if only you could have said it when I needed it most.
