What was i meant to be

I don't know who i am anymore,
i don't know the person i was meant to be,
was i born to be happy,
with a real smile and laugh,
or did god what this to happen,
for me to be sad and glum,
was i meant to have friends,
or be all alone,
was i meant to be loved,
or have no one at all,
was i meant to have a mum and dad,
was i meant to be there little girl,
was i meant to be born,
with brown hair or blonde,
was i meant to have brown eyes,
or blue instead.
