Walking away

by midmid   Sep 25, 2005

Breathing white clouds of misty air
Walking the road a night so fair
Snowflakes carried by winter breaze
Covers my heavy heart with ease

A light so bright through dark clouds peaks
At trails i left behind, it seeks
A man at dark walking away
It lit my path and led the way

The smile I lost since years so long
I wore that night, my heart did long
For warmth it had when love was there
But warm it was that night so fair

I walk away leaving behind
A world where madmen lead the blind
A world where ties and bonds do break
Where deep foundations quake and shake
I walk away, I tend to find
The divine truth and peace of mind
