Wishing

by M MEM   Sep 25, 2005

So many times,
I've wished,
I've wished so many things.
Those early days,
McDonalds Play-Doh sets,
You never got them,
You'd think,
That after all these years,
All these times you've been let down,
That you would be used to it.
No.
Still you wish,
Wish with every second of you life,
That it would all just end.
Never.
You keep wishing and wishing,
Until you take it into your own hands.

Wow.. that was a heck of a lot of emotion in a short poem. Really well done.... I could feel your words creeping into me.
5/5 from me, all the way : )
    Hope you're okay
