Alone with Love

Live in a kennel
they sit one by one
I have forgotten to check how many suns have gone
Today is a day just like any other
children and elders looking for love
They look at me and trust me im no dove
Ive been abused before and thats why im here
Im a beautiful german shepherd or so they all say
But a scars on my ears drives them away
Ive been in some fights while young in my youth
Im now even tempered but no pamperd pooch
for a while on the coner of streets i sat to mooch
Now here comes a boy with his mom and pa
They stop at my kennel to look and ga
The boy stops in love at first sight
mom i want this one
he says with alot of might
but dear his ears are scraggly and he is 8 years old he might not last long
I started ti feel happy and wiggly inside when a yup from a pup took it away
o look heres a puppy come get this one here
said his mom fighting happiness tears
My happiness gone ill be here the rest of my years at a no kill shelter blemished with pups
no room in a heart for an old geysers love
No mom i want this one his lifes almost done and if i never get him no one ever would
I live in a house two stories high
5 bedroom house one which is mine
I live with my boy who saved my life
im now 15 and still full of life
