Until Now

I used to believe that I knew what I wanted.
I used to think I knew what was important to me.
But then I met you.
Everything has changed.
Now, there is nothing else.
Only you.
Only the hope that each day I can wake up knowing I'll be able to see your beautiful face.
Be able to hear your voice,
be able to hold you in my arms,
and never let go.
And when I dream at night,
imagine a world where I never have to say goodbye to you.
Never have to see you walk away from me,
never watch you disappear into a crowd,
watch as a door closes behind you,
or vanish behind a corner.
This will never happen,
but maybe, someday, we will be together.
I would do anything for you,
give anything to be with you
even for just one more moment,
for another half a second.
