Tao or Dao.

by Steven Beesley   Sep 26, 2005

Tao or Dao:

The rejection of hatred, intolerance and unnecessary violence;
to embrace harmony, love and learning.
As we are all taught through nature;
the delicate balance of Ying and Yang.

Live in complete unity in peace and balance with the universe,
in this mortal life and beyond,
this is the path, this is the way;
spiritual enlightenment flowing through your life.

There is no love without hate,
no night without day,
good without evil.
All our lives are regulated in this way.

A force that flows and wraps around all life;
everything has it\'s course, it\'s cycle.
You are every part of the five elements: water, fire, wood, metal and earth.
Everyone of us must nurture Ch\'i, true breath and air within us.

To practice compassion, moderation and humility.
The respect of all life and nature.
To allow nature to take it\'s full course and follow the Wu Wei.
Your actions Will be reciprocated.

    Nice poem indeed!
    I love the way you perceive the Tao;
    Would you happen to know any kind of martial arts?

    This was one of the best poems I've read in a while...So much meaning and so true....We all need to just slow down and take one day at a time...

    hugs, love, Ann
