Walked Away

When I left that day,
Did I leave my life?
I didn't know it then
But I left my wife.

Am I sure of this now.
Because God lead her back
To my life somehow.

Today we are here,
Together and near.
But the vows she will not
For a certain known fear.

I left her one time,
As a younger man.
